问题在何处?Wherein lies the problem?


7:14-17 Romans 7:14-17
14得律法是属乎灵的,但我是属乎肉体的,是已卖给罪了。15我所做的,我自己不明白;我所願意的,我并不做;我所恨的,我倒去做。16 若我所做的,是我所不願意的,我就承律法是善的。17 既是这样,就不是我做的,乃是住在我里的罪做的。14 So the trouble is not with the law, for it is spiritual and good. The trouble is with me, for I am all too human, a slave to sin. 15 I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. 16 But if I know that what I am doing is wrong, this shows that I agree that the law is good. 17 So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it.

1)问题不在神的律法上面 - 律法是属乎灵的、是好的。神给律法于我们,本是要它成为我们的生命的指南。 它起初的目的是要用来帮助认识神的心与他给我们在这世界活着的意义;他对我们的要求。

2) 问题在于我里面 - 我是属于肉体的、是罪的仆人。当我在罪的势力之下,我完全无力对抗它。我不晓得为何做我不愿意做的事。当我想做好和义的事,我反倒去做与它相反的事。故此,我不是我自己,我也不明白自己。

不要以自己的力量去对抗罪。你不能胜于它。将所有的构思与行为交托于耶稣,并求他将它们以他宝血洗净。在旧约,诗人叫神指示他的过犯,并带领他走永生的道路。“神啊,求你察我,知道我的心思,试炼我,知道我的意念,看在我里面有甚么行没有,引我走永生的道路。” 诗篇1392324)在新约,使徒彼得说神以“基督的宝血,如同无瑕疵、无玷的羔羊之血 ”(彼前 119)当着我们的赎价,将我们从 虚妄的生活与行为救出来。

感谢神,我们现在能够过着一个得胜的生命, 脱离罪的捆绑。故此,我们当选择生命、行义、和做有义与有益的事。

1)   The problem does not lie with God’s law - It is spiritual and it is good. God has given us the law as a guide to life. Its original purpose was to help us know God’s heart and his intentions for us in this world; what he expects of us.
2)   The problem lies within me – I am all too human, and a slave to sin. When I am under the power of sin, I am powerless against it. I do not understand why I do what I do. When I desire to do good and right, I inadvertently engage in doing the opposite things. In this way, I am not myself and I don’t understand myself.

Don’t try to fight sin with your own strength. You can’t beat it. Bring all your thoughts and actions to Jesus, and ask him to cleanse them with his blood. In the OT, the Psalmist asked God to point out his mistakes, and lead him to the path of eternal life, “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.” (Psalm 139:23-24) In the NT, Peter says that God paid the ransom to save us from an empty life through, “the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.” (1 Peter 1:19)
Thank God that we could now live a life free from the power of sin, free from its grasp. Therefore, choose life, choose righteousness and doing what is right and good.

 务要慎,不能让你们当中有人失了神的恩Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God.”

罗马书520  Romans 520
神的律法本是外添的,叫過犯多;只是人的罪在那里多,神的恩典就更多了God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant.

以弗所 4:1   Ephesians 4:1
主被囚的:既然蒙召,行事人就当与蒙召的恩相称。Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.

哥林多后书 98   2 Corinthians 9:8
神能将各的恩惠多多的加,使你凡事常常充足,能多行各善事。And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.

(一)     生为基督徒, 我们生活在一个罪人成圣的团体里面。在我们当中,有一些信徒还在与罪恶挣扎,还在摸索神恩与赦免对他们的意义。希伯来书的写者勉励我们,“务要谨慎,”意思是我们应该互相看顾与关怀,不能让我们当中,在我们的生活与敬拜团体里面,有人失去了神的恩。

(二)     犯罪的人作恶更深,越显多;神的恩典显得更多,更深。即使有犯罪多深的人,罪恶多端的人;神的恩典也够用。这显明了神恩的毅力与深奥。

(三)     神已经救赎了我们,教导我们的生活要与蒙召的恩相称;并结义与善的果子。因为神能将各的恩惠多多的加,使凡事常常充足,能多行各样的善事。

神的恩典是奇异的、是丰满的、是永远存在的!

1.   As Christians, we live in a community of sinners turning into saints, there are believers among us who are still struggling with their sins and grappling with the full meaning and impact of God’s grace and forgiveness. The writer of the book of Hebrews exhorts us to “look after each other” or to “see to it” that no one among us, in the Christian community that we live and worship, will fall short of the grace of God.

2.   The more sinful people are, even more abundant is God’s grace. God’s grace is enough even for very, very sinful people. That’s the power and immeasurable nature of God’s grace.

3.    God has saved us, and also given us instructions to live a worthy life and bear the fruit of righteousness and good deeds. And God is able to make all (kinds of) grace abound toward us, so that we might have enough in everything for all kinds of good deeds.

God’s grace is amazing, abundant and always available!

神的律法是良善的,但罪利用良善的去实行它的恶计 God’s law is good, but sin uses what is good for its own evil purposes


7:7-13 Romans 7:7-13
7 这样,我甚么呢? 律法是罪么? 断乎不是! 只是非因律法,我就不知何罪。 非律法不可起心,我就不知何为贪心。 8 然而罪趁著机会,就藉著命叫般的心在我里头发动;因没有律法,罪是死的。 9 我以前没有律法是活著的;但是命来到,罪又活了,我就死了。 10 那本来叫人活的命,反倒叫我死;11罪趁著机会, 就藉著命引誘我,并且了我。
12 这样看来,律法是圣的,命也是圣、公、良善的。 13 既然如此,那良善的是叫我死 断乎不是! 叫我死的乃是罪。 但罪藉著那良善的叫我死,就出真是罪,叫罪因著命更出是极了。
 7 Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, “You must not covet.” 8 But sin used this command to arouse all kinds of covetous desires within me! If there were no law, sin would not have that power. 9 At one time I lived without understanding the law. But when I learned the command not to covet, for instance, the power of sin came to life, 10 and I died. So I discovered that the law’s commands, which were supposed to bring life, brought spiritual death instead. 11 Sin took advantage of those commands and deceived me; it used the commands to kill me.
12 But still, the law itself is holy, and its commands are holy and right and good. 13 But how can that be? Did the law, which is good, cause my death? Of course not! Sin used what was good to bring about my condemnation to death. So we can see how terrible sin really is. It uses God’s good commands for its own evil purposes.

罪的权势只能发挥在律法的范围之内。若无律法,罪就失去他的功效,不能定人的罪。神律法里的本是要叫我们的生命,它反倒叫我们死。然而我们不能断定律法为错,因为律法是圣的,命也是圣、公、良善的。罪是极恶的。它藉著良善的命叫我死,实行它的恶计。
The power of sin operates within the constraints of the law. If there were no law, sin would lose its power to convict the sinner. The law of God that was supposed to bring life instead brought death. Yet we cannot find fault with the law for in itself, the law is holy, and its commands are holy, right and good. Sin is terribly deceiving. It uses God’s good commands for its own evil purposes.

百合,飞鸟 和 我 Birds, Lilies, and Me

所以我告:不要生命忧虑Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life.

读经: 路加福音1222-34 Scripture Reading: Luke 12:22-34

有一部旧电视剧中的一个老督察在年出差前,要嘱付他们说:「一路上要小心!」是善意的叮,也是一份关怀,因他知道警员执行任务时,随会有状况生。

也曾说过似的忠告,但是的言辞更烈。路加福音11章的示了灾即将来到:「文士和法利人就极力地催逼,引说话」(53)。在接下来的部分路加记载说,耶稣谆谆徒要「防」(12章1), 但却不需要担和惧怕(4-7;22)。

稣应许徒,当他们进入世界之后,会引、保和照既然念不起眼的飞鸟和百合花,就一定会眷跟随的「小群」信徒(24-32)。

不能知未来,但我能确信,无遭逢任何事情,位慈爱伟大的牧者定会爱护、照和保守我,而就是上帝的儿子耶! DCE

稣顾念百合花和飞鸟 也必看你和我。

In the episodes of an old television show, the veteran police lieutenant always said this to the young officers on their way out to the street for their day’s assignments: “Be careful out there!” It was both good advice and a word of compassion because he knew what could happen to them in the line of duty.

Jesus gave His followers a similar warning, but in even stronger terms. Luke 11 ends ominously with these words: “The scribes and the Pharisees began to assail Him vehemently, and to cross-examine Him about many things” (v.53). In the continuation of this account, Luke says that Jesus compassionately instructed His disciples to “beware” (12:1) but not to worry or be afraid (vv.4-7,22).

Jesus was promising to guard, protect, and care for them as they went out into the world. He assured them that because He cared for simple things like birds and lilies, they could be certain that He would take care of His “little flock” of believers (vv.24-32).

We cannot know the future. But we can know this: No matter what comes, we are under the loving, caring, watchful eye of our great Shepherd, who also happens to be the Son of God!
