罗马书 9：1－5 Romans 9:1-5

9:1 我在基督里说真话，并不谎言，有我良心被圣灵感动，给我作见证；9:2 我是大有忧愁，心里時常伤痛；9:3 为我弟兄，我骨肉之亲，就是自己被咒诅，与基督分離，我也願意。9:4 他们是以色列人；那儿子的名分、荣耀、诸约、律法、礼仪、应许都是他们的。9:5 列祖就是他们的祖宗，按肉体说，基督也是从他们出来的，他是在万有之上，永遠可称颂的神。阿们！

¹ With Christ as my witness, I speak with utter truthfulness. My conscience and the Holy Spirit confirm it. ² My heart is filled with bitter sorrow and unending grief ³ for my people, my Jewish brothers and sisters. I would be willing to be forever cursed - cut off from Christ! - if that would save them.   ⁴ They are the people of Israel, chosen to be God’s adopted children. God revealed his glory to them. He made covenants with them and gave them his law. He gave them the privilege of worshiping him and receiving his wonderful promises. ⁵ Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are their ancestors, and Christ himself was an Israelite as far as his human nature is concerned. And he is God, the one who rules over everything and is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.

使徒保罗在这里将要分享一些非常挂心的负担，所以他召了三方面的见证， （一）他的救主，耶稣基督， （二） 神的圣灵， 与（三）他的良心。那，他将要说的就实在是从他心低所说的，“出于真心的话。”

这个挂虑甚至紧紧的抓住他的心并且使他的心沉没与沮丧。 他看着神所拣选的子民，是因该认识神的、与神相近的、但现在却是不得救的（四节）。祂给予他们那儿子的名分、显现了祂的荣耀、诸了约、赐他们律法 （正义生活的律）。祂也给他们敬拜祂的机会和宝贵的应许。他们有了亚伯拉罕、以撒和雅各为他们的祖先。而且主耶稣也是个以色列人，是从出来的。

有了这许多益处，他们竟然还不得救。所以保罗非常的心痛 — 甚至说，若能是他的弟兄得救，即使他被咒诅，与基督分離，他也願意。这提醒我在旧约里，先知摩西也为了他的子民代祷，求神赦免他们的罪， 不然，他求祂从祂所写的册上涂抹他的名（出埃及记 32：32）。

The Apostle Paul was about to share some very serious concerns that was in his heart and he called upon three parties to be his witnesses, (1) His Master, Jesus Christ, (2) God the Holy Spirit, and (3) His own conscience.

So, whatever he was about to speak was something that really came out of the bottom of his heart, “with utter truthfulness.”

The deep concern that gripped his heart and caused it to be bitterly sorrowful and filled with and unending grief was: As God’s chosen people, they were supposed to know him and be close to him, but now they were actually unsaved (v.4). He had adopted them as children, revealed his glory so many times to them, made covenants with them, and give them his precious law (rule for righteous living). He had also given them the wonderful privilege of worshiping him and receiving his precious promises. Furthermore, they had the Patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as their ancestors. And Christ himself, God became man, was one of them. He was born an Israelite.

With all these privileges, they were still not saved. So Paul’s heart was inexpressibly grieved – he wished that he could be cursed, and cut off from Christ’s love and salvation, if that would save them. This reminds me of the Old Testament prophet, Moses who interceded on behalf of his people asking God to forgive their sins, and if not to blot his name out of His book (Exodus 32:32).

没有什么可以将我们与从基督的爱分开 Nothing can separate us from Christ’s love

罗马书 8:31-34 Romans 8:35-39

8:35 谁能使我们与基督的爱隔绝呢？ 难道是患难吗？ 是困苦吗？ 是逼迫吗？ 是饥饿吗？ 是赤身露体吗？ 是危险吗？ 是刀劍吗？ 8:36 如经上所记：我们为你的缘故终日被杀；人看我们如将宰的羊。8:37 然而，靠著爱我们的主，在这一切的事上已经得胜有余了。

³⁵ Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? ³⁶ As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.” ³⁷ No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

使徒保罗问一个反问的问题：谁能使我们与基督的爱隔绝呢？答案是明确的, “没有谁。” 甚至我们在生活中所遇到的任何麻烦，我们的职业或工作也不会。也不是灾难或任何自然灾害,像海啸或龙卷风，或人为的灾害，像逼迫; 或饥饿, 或贫困，健康欠佳; 或危险，威胁或面对即将死亡的情景。不会的！尽管被暴露在各种危险情景下，我们能 “在这一切的事上已经得胜有余了。” 阿门！

The Apostle Paul asked a rhetorical question: Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? The answer is a definite “No.” Not even any trouble that we experience in life, in our relationships, in our job or career, not calamity or any natural disaster such as the tsunami or tornado, or man-made disaster like persecution; or hunger, or destitution, or ill-health, danger, threat or facing imminent death. No, despite being exposed to all sorts of danger we can be “more than conquerors through Christ who loved us.” Amen!

德雷莎修女说，“在这个世界上，人们更期待爱和欣赏比为面包而饥饿。” 但基督的爱是永远长存的；并且是丰满，我们时刻能领受到的；而永不停流，永不止息的。所以，让所有饥渴的人都来到耶稣跟前。他是生活的面包和生活用水。

 Mother Teresa said, "There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than for bread." But Christ’s love is always there, abundant and available, ever flowing down to us, and never ceasing. So, let all who hunger and thirst come to Jesus. He is the living bread and living water.
