罗马书 8:9-14 Romans 8:9-14
8:9 如果神的灵住在你们心里，你们就不属肉体，乃属圣灵了。人若没有基督的灵，就不是属基督的。8:10 基督若在你们心里，身体就因罪而死，心灵却因义而活。8:11 然而，叫耶稣从死里复活者的灵若住在你们心里，那叫基督耶稣从死里复活的，也必藉著住在你们心里的圣灵，使你们必死的身体又活過来。8:12 弟兄们，这样看来，我们并不是欠肉体的债去顺从肉体活著。8:13 你们若顺从肉体活著，必要死；若靠著圣灵治死身体的恶行，必要活著。8:14 因为凡被神的灵引导的，都是神的儿子。
9 But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.10 And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God. 11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.12 Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do.13 For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live.14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
我们的生命不需要受那卑微罪性所控制；它已经让主耶稣基督所牺牲的肉体击败了， 并且使我们脱离它，和经历自由、受圣灵所控制的生活 （三节）。神用复活主耶稣的能力赐给我们，让我们也经历到在圣灵里的新生命 （十一节）。 现在，我们不欠罪恶的债或受它的捆绑去行它所指使的。但如果我们靠圣灵的力量，我们可以治死罪的恶行。这样，我们就活了！
Our life is not controlled by the lower sinful nature; it was defeated and disengaged by the sacrifice of Christ and we have been set free to live a life that is controlled by the Spirit of God (verse 3). The same resurrection power that God used to raise Jesus from the dead will also give us new life in the Spirit (verse 11). Now, we are not bond by any obligation or power to live according to the dictates of the sinful nature, but through the power of the Spirit of God, we can proactively put to death the deeds of the sinful nature. In this way, we will live!
