透过亚当的过犯，我们受审判；透过基督的死，我们因信称义 Through Adam’s sin, we were condemned; through Christ’s death, we were justified by faith

罗马书 5:18-21 Romans 5:18-21

如此说来，因一次的過犯，众人都被定罪；照样，因一次的义行，众人也就被称义得生命了。因一人的悖逆，众人成为罪人；照样，因一人的顺从，众人也成为义了。律法本是外添的，叫過犯显多；只是罪在那里显多，恩典就更显多了。就如罪作王叫人死；照样，恩典也藉著义作王，叫人因我们的主耶稣基督得永生。

Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous. God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant. So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

因亚当的过犯， 我们被定罪，但借着耶稣的义行，我们被称义，并且得永生。我们所需要作的就是靠信心，就能因信称义。信心是相信的表现，相信我们透过亚当，生来有罪。但透过基督在十字架的死，我们得称义。 We were condemned through Adam’s sin, but we were justified through Jesus’ act of righteousness, and received eternal life. What it takes for us to become justified in God’s sight is faith. Faith is the act of believing that we were born sinners because of Adam, and that we could be made righteous because of Christ’s death for us on the cross.
