One website I find particularly useful for listening to very good mandarin and dialect songs and sermonettes is athttp://www.febaltd.com.
This site has daily broadcast of 30 minute songs and sermonettes. You can also tune in to radio FM 102.3 at certain times of the day to listen in.
The sermonettes can be downloaded to CDs or MP3s for personal use or given to others to listen.

Hokkien Service
BBTC's Hokkien Service was started in January 2005 with the desire to reach out to the dialect-speaking in the Bedok-Tampines community. According to the government population census, the number of dialect-speaking in Bedok alone amounts to 40, 000.
Given our strategic location in the heart of Bedok and the prophetic exhortations by national church leaders on BBTC. Being a church to the community, we believe that our intention is to plant, grow and establish the Hokkien Service to reach 500 members by 2010. We have a team of 30 dedicated and passionate co-workers from the English and Mandarin services who work closely to achieve our goals. We strive to become warm welcomers, true worshipers, Word centered believers, clear witnesses and prayer warriors.
Presently, we have a congregation of 150 including co-workers, and thank the Lord for His presence and commitment to us as we partner in growing His church. (Matthew 28:19-20; Matthew 16:18)
Our Strategy
Our strategy is two-pronged: reaching out through community blessing and establishing members through small groups (cells). Through CP, our members aim to touch the dialect-speaking in the community through acts of care. Our weekly services and events are seeker-sensitive, and through these, we aim to save them into God's family. Through the cell groups, new members grow and are established, and in turn reach out to their communities.
Our Methods
Our team members immerse themselves in the culture of the dialect-speaking community and have learnt different dialects to reach out and minister to them. In our ministry, we have teams who help in ushering, worship, teaching of God's word, witnessing to others and most importantly, praying for our members. Our model is adopted from the early church and we expect the Lord to add to our congregation many who will be saved (Acts 2:42-47).
We are organized into 10 cell groups and have adopted 26 blocks within walking distance of BBTC as our immediate community to build bridges of care and trust. Our aim is to establish cell groups in every block. Through the small groups, we disciple and develop new members who will then partner with us to multiply and grow the cell groups, and to lead and serve in our congregation, for God's glory.
Programmes
Our services are conducted weekly every Saturday, from 7.00pm - 9.00pm at Hall 1. For more information, please contact Pastor Ernest Chow at 64429784.

With God's leading, Hokkien Harvest (Singapore) seeks to be a blessing to the Hokkien-speaking communities. It is also our desire to be a blessing to the Nations in Singapore and beyond. We provide training for those English-speaking people who like to learn Hokkien in order to communicate with the Hokkien communities. VISION For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost (Luke 19:10). MISSION I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sancifitied by faith in me (Acts 26:17b-18). PURPOSE Establish and strengthen link with other Churches for consolidating the troop for the harvest (John 21:6). THEME Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men (Matthew 4:19). We welcome all enquires/feedback | |

Project:
The Recovery of a part of Modern Hokkien Christian Culture - An investigation into the origin, history and theology of modern Hokkien Christian Songs.
Brief Description:
This project seeks to discover the composers of the lyrics and tunes of Hokkien Christian songs around the world. The plan is to catalog the songs by regions (China, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and the rest of the world) and give a brief write up of the original composers, and if possible the reason(s) and setting of the songs. It will also have a section discussing the theology of the song.
This section of the page is an ongoing project.
