1. What gives life to all creatures?
a) The Bible says that God is the Source of all life, including the first human beings. “He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person.” (Genesis 2:7)
b) He is the Creator of all things, material and spiritual, and has given each a “life” of their own.
“All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fish ….The first MAN, Adam, BECAME A LIVING SOUL. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.” (1 Corinthians 15:39, 45)
2. Three characters of God: C.H.S. (Creator-Healer-Sustainer)
a) God is the Creator – He said, “let there be,” and it comes to being. His spoken words are also creative words. His words are powerful.
b) God is the Healer – He is one who binds and made right, He renews the earth through the four seasons, He renews our spirit by His Holy Spirit. God saves and renews us “by the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Spirit.” (Titus 3:5)
c) God is the sustainer – He not only created and saved us, He also continues to sustain our life and spirit, so that we are kept safe in His loved, provided with all his provisions, and protected from the enemy.
（一）有什么能给予所有的动物生命呢？
（甲）圣经说神是万物的根源， 包挂在世界的第一个人类。“耶和华 神用地上的尘土造人，将生气吹在他鼻孔里，他就成了有灵的活人，名叫亚当。”（创 2：7）
（亿）他创造了一切，属物质的和属灵性的，并且给予每个有他／它自己的生命。“凡肉体各有不同：人是一样，兽又是一样，鸟又是一样，魚又是一样。 … 经上也是这样记著说：首先的人亚当成了有灵（血气）的活人；末后的亚当成了叫人活的灵。（多前15：39, 45）
（二）三个属神的特性 ：创造者、医治者、支持者。
（甲）神是创造者 － 他说，“「要有光」，就有了光。他所说的话是创造的话，是有功效的。
（亿）神是医治者。他照他的怜悯，“藉著重生的洗和圣灵的更新”拯救与更新了我们 。（提多书 3：5）
（丙）神是我们的扶持者 － 他不但创造与拯救了我们，他也继续支持我们的生命与灵魂，使我们在他的爱里得安全 、他供应我们一切的需要与保护我们不受敌人的攻击。
